Desenvolvido pela Asobo Studios e publicado pela Codemasters, Fuel é um jogo que mistura corridas na estrada e rallys. O título possui um mundo aberto (ampla área pela qual o jogador pode navegar livremente) de 5 mil milhas quadradas, o que equivale a aproximadamente 13 mil quilômetros quadrados.

Percorra as estradas que quiser: Enfim a liberdade chega definitivamente aos jogos de corrida! O mapa, o maior já visto na história dos videogames de corrida, conta com os mais variados cenários, desde montanhas verdejantes até desertos escaldantes, e apresenta aos jogadores uma experiência pós-apocalíptica bastante envolvente.

O jogo se passa num futuro onde o aquecimento global e a ausência de petróleo culminaram numa crise catastrófica. Neste mundo, só resta a alguns loucos corredores a alegria de correr impunemente pelas mais diversas paisagens.
